Night of the Cupid

Rose are red, violets are blue… V-Day is coming, and murder is too.

Roses, chocolate, and a completed to-do list. Is that too much to ask for Valentine’s Day? When you own the Sierra’s best UFO-themed B&B, it might be. Because murder is about to collide with all of Susan’s carefully laid plans…

The Valentine’s special at her B&B has attracted all the wrong guests—a group of Bigfoot seekers and the ex-con who shared the worst night of Susan’s life in a small-town jail. At least she’s got her boyfriend Arsen for moral support.

Or does she? Because as the big day approaches, Arsen’s acting even more unpredictable than usual.

And when she discovers the body of a woman with a bevy of boyfriends, she learns that love gone wrong means nothing will go right. But will Susan’s determination to set things straight land her on the wrong end of Cupid’s arrow?

"Another amazingly funny murder mystery centered around Wits' End B&B and loveable owner Susan Wit. Not only is she organized (see her picture in the dictionary next to "planner reliant people"), she is a wonderful host for her guests, hardworking, and apparently has limitless energy! (I love her even more because she is slow to understand Bitcoin even after multiple explanations! I can identify!) She never wants to hurt anyone's feelings, even a cell-mate from Nowhere, Nevada who comes to visit. This is a book meant to be consumed as quickly as possible because the action snowballs and rushes to the conclusion. Expect wonderful characters, bursts of laughter, romance, Bigfoot, and so much more. You won't be disappointed by the plot or the many many details either. I'd have to say the book is flawless, fantastic, and funny! A combination hard to beat. Looking forward to the next book already!"

"Excellent writing! Kept me thoroughly engaged. There were three entwined mysteries. The main one was who had committed the horrific murders. The second involved the romances of the various characters. The third was who had poisoned the first box of chocolates. I was surprised by the author consistently. Well written!"

"As if love was not complicated enough, through in aliens and a Valentine's event gone wacky and you will learn what chaos is really like. This might be more than even our heroine can handle. This is book seven in the series but it works just fine as a standalone. This is a cozy mystery with a serious case of the weird and wacky. The story is well written, easy to read and full of mischief. The setting is well developed and the characters are great, bringing the story to life in very odd ways. I really enjoyed the mix of Valentines Day with the strange inhabitants of this setting, creating a really fun story and a solid mystery to boot. Overall, it was a wonderful story and I look forward to exploring more from this author."
